As is currently, a lot of the blue collar jobs suck dick and your co-workers are normally ass. You can get paid just as much, if not more, working as a wagie at a fast food place or a store cashier while having to worry less about injury. The only blue collar job I thoroughly enjoyed was working on a family farm that was live in for a few months of the year. It was all mundane, easy work that paid extremely well (15/hr) with zero certifications.
