You know how it looks like in Europe? If we want to find out who were our ancestors we ask our grandparents about their families and that's it. I personally can trace my paternal line by state and church records to early 1600s while the earliest record of my family came from year 1407. We have been living within the very same region for at least 600 years. No need to sell my DNA to Jews to find out about it.
