The close contact between their tired, sweat soaked bodies means Kelly can feel Sheila’s heart pounding as she stares into her eyes, just as Sheila must surely feel Kelly’s heart rate quickening to a sprint. Both women’s breathing becomes heavier as their faces inch closer to the other.
And then finally, Sheila makes the move, closing the remaining distance between the two. Kelly closes her eyes as Sheila’s lips meet her own for the first time, and in that all too brief moment, the dual rings full of fellow wrestlers and the arena packed with thousands of rowdy fans fades away.
