as far as for his personal future it depends, he may have a cushy life but he will never have any impact on the world ever again, and certainly someone with enough will to go out and shoot people could have found a better way to accomplish more impactful things
the consequence of his actions likely did the reverse of what he intended, even if it's what he think he wanted: accelerationism doesn't work, you just lose when you cede political ground to your enemies. as funny as the content was and however much it feels heroic to kill invaders indiscriminately, the long-term effect of what he did was to push new zealand further left, and it did nothing to spur on any future actions by others there or here or elsewhere
