The one that took 3 44R, was really sick, and we all thought the 44 would surely be sufficent since it's a big projectile with a decent track record, but we were mistaken. Sad as hell, to see her just grunt and stand up until the thrid shot did the job.
From there on, id use a high power rifle, shotgun, or some ballistic tip large bore handgun rounds if I ever have to mercy kill one of those dogs.
