These people want more, they are never satisfied because it is impossible for a human to feel satisfied. The beast always wants "improvement from the current state".
These people. despite clearly having nearly a 10/10 physical life, still seek improvement of their status. They need improvement in order to feel happiness, otherwise the only feel stagnation. Since they cannot improve their position physically, this forces them to find alternative methods to try and improve their status and thus feel the "pleasure of progress for the better", which is generally understood to be happiness.
The only source these people can find for "potential improvement" is turning to the occult or the divine for some sort of supernatural favor, some sort of blessing, because they have control of every physical thing under the sun, thus cannot attain improvement of their status this way.
The longstanding total control of the world by these people has rendered them unable to feel pleasure from anything beyond perceived occult/supernatural gains, which are entirely faith-based and produce no measurable or legitimizing evidence of actually producing real benefit.
The experienced psychological "benefit" comes entirely from faith. At this point, these people become extremely dependent upon faith to feel pleasure or happiness, because it is only through having faith in the supernatural can they believe that they are "improving their position for the better"
It's not a matter of "God magic is real", it's a matter of world controllers being bound by natural human instinct, succumbing to the only source of available happiness which is faith, then having this faith intoxicate them to the point where they are sabotaging their own countries just to feel this pleasure of "perceived improvement of ones status".
