>>16885096oh nah. the download itself is 2.5 gigs, just the size is 5 after it unpacks. so i was right. why do i only have good memory when it comes to stuff that doesnt matter
also already found a really nice looking map, and it looks like theres a lot more too. o well i have something else to kill time with now, thats nice. unfortunately not for long because this is still something that i only feel like playing on occasion, if i was doing it every day then itd just lose the special feeling it has to it anyway.
so ill gonna try to figure out the fps issue again, its worth another shot. would be pretty nice to be able to play without having to be bothered by it. what i could try doing as a last resort is play the game on 640x480 resolution which would probably make it run enough to be bearable, but the catch to that is, well, itll be 640x480. usually i dont mind that at all, ive played a bunch of games on that resolution but the thing is that they werent games that i cared to take the scenery in. with this getting to look at the map is a part of why i love it so having a way lower resolution kinda gets in the way of that. dont get me wrong, i love the look and feel of playing at a shitty resolution still, it has its own aesthetic, but eh i think here its just more enjoyable to be able to see stuff clearly.
hell, to fix it i could just open the maps on gmod instead. what would suck is that i dont think gmod has the exact movement as cs:s, so it wouldnt be playing it as intended.
you know i bet i could get a pirated version of cs:s and itll completely fix the issue
i understand these games enough to be 100% sure thats going to work so sooner or later im gonna give it a try.
idk steam just really likes to mess shit up, if you play the same game outside of steam youre pretty much bound to get a better experience
have to wait for all this to download so gonna lay down for a while ig.
