>>5632407Probably because of all the wasted potential. TLA is fairly flawless as a series, whereas LOK is rife with false starts and compromised, abandoned themes and half-realized ideas. For example, the first season feels like a fucking prologue, and it leads us, the audience, to believe that Korra, that paragon of unearned confidence and ability, will permanently lose her bending powers at the end of the season, thus establishing the driving goal of this new series, the principle theme of the "legend" of Korra, the first Avatar to be unable to use three of the four elements. That would have been cool as hell. But instead she's saved by deus ex Aang, and the series only wastes progressively greater and greater amounts of potential from that point on.
