I didn't know much about GTA 3 when I first played it. It was recommended to me and I was vaguely aware of GTA 2 and figured if GTA 2 is good, GTA 3 might be a good too.
I will never forget when it dawned on me that the game was actually open world, and I was free to roam around the city in my car.
Triple jabbed zoomers will never experience this. It's an experience reserved for boomers. It's akin of deaf people who hear their lover say "I love you" for the firs time thanks to the advancements of technology, and immediately begin crying of happiness and cover their mouth and can't contain their emotions, well that was my reaction, that is what I've felt.
I will never forget it.
