Just got my first nice sterling silver "chamberstick" candle holder in the mail, it cost $39 total with tax. For several years I'd been passively looking for "the right one" both for the collection and to actually use and figured this would fit the bill. I thought it might be around 2oz, 3oz at most, so its superlative quality and thickness really surprised me when i pulled it out of the box.
Comes to 100.1g of solid sterling (melt value over $91), with an attractive "1898" engraving and unusual hallmarks on the bottom indicating it was made in 1894. It's about as high quality and heavy as they come, I'm super happy with this cute 'lil slurp. Happy hunting frens!
