My experience with black people is that a single black person CAN be a lucid, compassionate, intelligent human. But as soon as they get together they digress into a tribal state of violence and celebration of laziness and stupidity.
I have a good friend who's black. He's an ex-gangster, a crip from L.A. who has 11 kids with one woman, he supports them, and he wanted to get them out of L.A. so he moved to southern Utah. The guy is pretty much a class act, works hard, super nice guy, scary as hell to look at - he's about 6'4", all muscle, and covered with gang tattoos. Sometimes we'll hit Vegas together and people get the fuck out of our way LOL.
But now and then my friend takes a trip back to L.A. and goes right back into gangsta mode while he's there. He's sent me pictures of him when he's visiting family in Compton, he's got the bandana on, the fierce expression, tats out, packing a gun. So it's like he's two different people depending on where he is.
I like my friend. But if I ran into him in L.A. and didn't know him I doubt we'd ever become friends, probably just the opposite.
Blacks have a lot of cultural/integration problems. Until we as a society start addressing those problems directly, we'll never make progress in race relations. Unfortunately, the media has determined that we can't even discuss these real issues.
