Another way you could try is my becoming a friend then getting some way to contact them online or their phone number. That way you can ask them out like that, and you can think about what you're about to say before you even say it. In my expirience, the previous advice leaves more of an impression on girls because everyone asks people out online now a days. It's definitely harder though. Also don't kys ;_;
