>>16468202>humbly brageh, wouldn't really care though, goes back to what i said about how iq's just one variable, there could be a guy with 150 iq but he's schizophrenic and homeless, doesn't necessarily preclude people from envying his iq but still retarded for him to be bragging about iq in that situation
another thing is iq's genetic right? so bragging about it would be bragging about something you were literally born with, which yeah some people brag about being tall or having a huge cock or whatever but personally i'm more impressed with what people do, i know iq is different than physical traits but still, i don't care about whether people think i'm smart or dumb, i care more about being "smart" than looking smart and same for other people too, i care more about what people are actually saying than just the words they use because the ideas are way more fun than playing vocab police
>>16468296>clean slateyea that'd be easiest, but actually that makes me wonder what would that mean in practice, since all human cultures grew from something else, no civilization in the world started as a completely blank slate, and regarding other people not wanting it to happen, well, that'd be a cultural thing, if the overwhelming majority of people wholeheartedly believed that political decisions should be made by the "qualified" then they wouldn't get pissy about not being able to vote because it's for the best, the qualified people are qualified for a reason and same for the unqualified. it sounds crazy but like eating ze bugs, it's conceivable that in a few generations it could become not just acceptable but commonplace and normal, an even better example is gays, it didn't even take 100 years for homosexuals to become "fully" accepted, so even though it's hard for me to imagine i think it's not impossible for people's perspective on voting privileges to massively shift
