I personally belive God's laws are perfect and I want to live by them, but the Gospel is about you putting all your faith from whatever you trust in for salvation (that's what "repent" means in the sense of the Gospel) and trust that Jesus already paid for it all. It's all very simple, once you are saved, you manage your walk with God however you want, if you want to continue in sin, youll be chastised, but not thrown out of the family, God loves you, once you are His child, you're always His child.
