I finally received my police background check today. It took three weeks. Fifty-five dollars and three weeks for a letter what say "yeah this guy doesn't have any record". There is no detail on it whatsoever. I thought maybe since it's an information check which includes all past interactions with the police that it would have had a couple items listed for when I had to do injury-involved car accident stuff and when I found my neighbor after he died of a heart attack. Nope. Alright.
