The belief and the action of ceasing masturbation are entirely disconnected in this sentence, and it makes no sense to include it other than to disparage the reader of the thread. It's an entirely irrelevant concept included in order to convince the reader that "NoFap" is a waste of time, despite it's irrelevancy. I'm attempting to understand if there's some underlying reason beyond this for including the sentence, as there's no other detail explaining why this is unrealistic.
