you must take into account mark is the earliest gospel, its a second generation jewish christian compiling stories for a wholly jewish audience. mark is important because it serves as a sort of easter egg to how the religion developed over time, but especially tells us about the author. its important to remember none of this actually happened, but is just a glimpse into the mind of the jewish writer.
his choice of words are deliberate
so theres a naked boy (νεανίσκος). christians will attack every single little thing to say x isnt x, when it clearly is. the word you would use for someone not a boy is νεανίας, which means a young man or youth, usually applied to someone in his early twenties, but can extend to somebody older who has good genes and still looks like a younger man relative to his age. but the important thing is that word is speaking of someone who has fully grown.
but when you use the suffix σκος which is a diminutive form of this same word, it emphasizes something younger and more important, which is NOT fully grown. and when do males stop growing? theres your answer for the oldest the boy could be. that is a νεανίσκος. so a boy anywhere from 10-17, which shouldnt even be controversial considering many of the apostles were right around this same age.
