I am an alcoholic, and I feel that my life choices are pushing my friends away. I feel I am just dulling down my senses, including sociability, so I pretty much feel too exhausted/hungover/ashamed to hang out with my friends, even though they ask me to/want me to hang/maybe are worried about me.
