There's no real answer to the question, "is something true" any more than there's an answer to the question of whether or not the reality around us is true. It's important to remember the lesson of Schrodinger's Cat when people ask if something is real, or scientifically verifiable. It doesn't matter at all if an idea is real or not, only if you assume that "reality" means a state of existence separate from human consciousness or only a simulated one. What "exists" now isn't an "existence" because we don't observe it. We pick up light and have memories of the past and sensations. What "is" is often something we label as a reaction to our perception. Regardless of that, everything within the universe is within your mind, since you are the one who is viewing it in the first place. Since there's nobody else around doing the viewing, the conscious element you can find anywhere within the universe can only have two sources: any elements within the universe itself, and the viewer, who is you, either an isolated island of consciousness or yourself encompassing the entire universe. As for truth, that's a much harder nut to crack, but the principles involved in approaching the subject are identical. Think about what a "truth" is. That in itself seems really paradoxical when you think about it.
