The dirty little secret is that you can go to most any city or county dump in the USA and pull old stack on cabinets for free out of the steel scrap pile. (A lot of these dumps are "recycling centers" so they actively encourage people to take and reuse things too) you wont believe how many people throw away perfectly usable old cabinets, furniture, electronics, toolboxes, and other things just because they are "old". Never buy anything new.
Take pic related for example. You will see in the bottom right two perfectly good 55 gallon steel drums. Those are worth around $100 each right now and are free for the taking.
