The thing is that my grandfather disappeared during the Soviet Union. About 1998-2000 years, all information about him there is only this: his name is Alexander Ushakov. There is information that he may have changed his surname to Smirnov. He was two meters tall, that's my mother's father. He lived in the city of Chita, when he disappeared he was drunk, and just left home probably to his mistress, he was a general or lieutenant in his part of the army. I was shown a picture of him, I remember his face. But I can't attach it, unfortunately. But if there is a picture I can identify him. Please help or give advice on how to find him.
