>>10706870Meditation is quite easy really.
It's more of an exercise to increase and maintain your focus.
Find someone, anything and focus on that.
This is the first step of meditation, expanding your ability to focus.
Once you are confident that you can maintain a point of focus, bring that to a deeper or more subtle body of psychosomatic space.
Perhaps focus on a feeling within the mind or body, many say to focus on breathing; but in my opinion any feeling that is mentally felt or within the body will do.
The next step would be to navigate the subtle bodies you discover during the above process and find what is the most clear form of being.
A part of you that is without anything that is from the exterior.
This will take time, but use this now trained focus to navigate the subtle bodies of felt experience until you locate some form of being that is without the exterior, the emptiness which is described by many eastern religions.
Once you feel that you have found this emptiness, continue to meditate or focus on this sensation and ignore any thoughts that come by, this ignoring of thoughts is natural too all parts of the process I have explained.
Let them come and go as they please, try your best not to case them.
Continue to find purer forms of this emptiness, this is the stillness of mind.
Don't worry, focusing on the stillness or emptiness will not leave you dumb; instead it will allow the natural flow of your mind to recompiled your thought systems into a more uniform design.
After each cycle you should feel calm and refreshed.
