No one who followed the story for years likes the ending. Nothing about the ending makes sense when you try to relate it to everything that came before it. No longer is eren attempting to kill his enemies... but is now just... waiting to die? The ending is easily one of the worst endings in fiction since the year 2000.
For the story to be consistent with the narrative throughout the majority of the story, the alliance should have all been killed or prevented from obstructing eren from committing a full rumbling. Stopping at 80% just because is such a dumb reason kek. It made sense for ymir to reincarnate into eren and historias baby, but not even that happened.
