why are we here? I mean really, why are any of us here? I'm not being existential - I mean why the hell do we spend our time on this board. Think about it - all of the intelligent internet citizens are on r/science and similar sub-reddits. All of the politically savvy are on /pol/. Hell, even /b/ is more "random" than this shithole. So again I ask, why are we here? What is it about this dorky corner of the internet that keeps us coming back? Is /bant/ a drug from which we can never ween ourselves?
