Think about all the accounts of sea monsters, dating back hundreds of years. Serpents, the Kraken, etc., spoken of by sailors and storytellers. The Bible, in the book of Job, has a line where God speaks to Satan and compares catching a sea monster with a fish hook to something impossible. We have recordings of audio that arguably consist of sounds made from extremely large creatures. All of this was talked about up until the 1700s, where people decided unless there was one in the flesh to see for themselves, they wouldn’t believe in it.
Today, we are capable of developing the tech to send a drone or manned vessel deep enough to see what’s on the unexplored ocean floor. Do you think there still are “sea monsters”, giant creatures residing in the water that need deep ocean to fit in? Or could all of those different examples be misinterpreted?
