Even something with similar topics like Castlevania on /v/ you get decent enough threads discussing the series, while on /vr/ most people only like one game in the series as the best in their view and just throw shit at all the rest of them as they're more passionate about them. The novelty here will wear off if it stays permanent though and it will have some defined style like the other /b/ boards, like /r9k/ became associated with feels posts.
