Why do t people take their toilets?
>>20632477American homes have both. My dryer is 220v (I also have far-superior natural to my utility room, but already had an electric dryer). There are a few 220v outlets in my home as well, from when it had window unit a/c’s (they’ve long since been removed and replaced with central air, but the outlets remain).
Since our service is 110v, that means the bus bar can have two hits run from it for 220v appliances. The breakers are larger and it uses wire with three conductors (two hot and a single neutral).
