You almost can not have a social media profile, public or private, in this day and age without high risk of kiwi or lolcow farms discussing you. You could be their next victim of doxing, hacking, extreme breeches of privacy (getting ahold of your medical records, as an example) and general targeted harassment just by virtue of being fat, ugly, trans, bipolar, autistic, or whatever else these lowlife scumbags feel "superior" to.
It's not just e-celebrities who get it, it's anyone. Their "personal lolcow" threads where they upload screenshots from Facebook friends ought to make that clear enough. Or you might be friends/family with one of their new targets and have no idea your cousin that you rarely speak to had a moderate size twitter following until you get dozens of threatening calls on your personal cell phone.
So basically just don't have a social profile at all if you want to be 100% sure you're safe from this shit. THAT'S a major violation of free speech. Rugging the forum of psychos who perpetuate this shit is bringing freedom of speech BACK to the internet.
