hard to sympathize with the rioters and looters either. i advise you to just enjoy the show and stay indoors if something like this comes your way because i doubt events like these will decrease in frequency.
anyway, i think i've seen cops pull back and let rioters riot to their hearts' content before. i don't think i've seen them let their own precinct get burned down before though. hopefully they removed all their munitions and gear before abandoning it, kek.
