i mean i know why. they have no other choice. you just keep going and hope maybe, just maybe, things will get better. but when everything is signaling that everything is fucked and everything is doomed to desend into dystopia or destruction no matter what you do, when will everyone in mass just decide to walk away? just wake up tomorrow and decide they aren't doing shit. is that even an option? is everyone ready to do so but they're just waiting for someone to tell them it's ok?
