If you think about it a Talk Guy will have longer reach then a short one wich helps immensily in Fights, He could build Up distance while also fighting, and one would expect a tall Guy to have more mass compared to a short Guy with the Same build.
On the Other Hand If you have a somewhat short one but Hes heavy that also brings advantages Like He is more durable and heavier strikes and stronger when grappling someone
