Arthur's ideas were a little more cosmically focused than Freddie's more mundane, personal focus on his own relationship to the cosmos. I think if anyone actually prefers Schopey though it's probably because he straight up calls God evil instead of claiming that he's dead.
To be honest I'm not terribly well read in the German philosophers. I know bullet points and can decently bullshit a few sentences but I've already exhausted my knowledgebase on the subject haha. I'm typically more interested in the physically based attempts to understand the universe. Mostly because I've already made peace with the fact that philosophy holds no absolute truths I can believe in, whereas physics... well, I can see it. I know, I know, it's plebian of me. Allegory of the cave and whatnot. But I prefer the simplicity of "I can observe it, so it is true."
