Even within them, the Irish and British Celts were different until the Irish ones occupied Scotland and the Isle of Man. Just look at the difference between the likes of Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Manx Gaelic and the likes of Welsh, Cornish, Breton - basically unintelligible. Continental Celts would've been even further from us, Gallic civilisation was more advanced than ours for example.
