I get that it's hard to learn in the heat, and I don't have any suggestions about that. But, I will say, things do get drastically different after high school. You either get thrown out into the real world, start university (which is a totally different feeling) or both. Trust me when I say I don't remember much from my high school years either, but that doesn't really matter as long as you're learning about things that matter to you. Do you plan on going to university? Or, are you just going to get a job straight out of school? Trust me when I say I've felt that before though, just being lost and not knowing what you want to do with yourself. I can assure you though 100% that if you just put in the effort, you will succeed.
