>>13121120I have been running daily since Aug 31st, it has been an exercise in Discipline. It started out by wanting to reach over 1k miles in 2020, and I ran 680 miles between Sept-Dec 31st alone, finished the year at 1,103 miles a full hundred ahead of pace.
I am going for a full year, and although I had been doing 45-55 mpw early on my mpw has dropped to 20-30. I haven't skipped a day yet, although there are some days I only trudge out a quick 6 minute mile and call it quits. I still get on the board everyday.
For anyone really trying to dig themselves out of a hole - I reccomend taking up a daily challenge like this. I am in so deep now (10 months) that NOT running every day is unfathomable. Set a goal Anons that you know you can attain, but will allow you to achieve higher if possible.
My initial goal was to run 2,021 miles this year, injury and full time employment 11hr days have put me behind that goal but I still can run every single day. You can too.
