Also it depends on what it is for how quick it is.
Ex: text= me: wanna go watch a movie or something?
him: k, [location & time] ok?
me: yup, see ya.
Phone= pretty much that but a bunch of small talk too.
Phone Calls feel a bit impersonal, even if less than text it still is more so than actual speech, you don't get to see their expressions and stuff, i also think you sound a bit different on phone which puts me off a bit.
It's like the bad middle ground, not as casual as text and not as friendly as normal, like the uncanny valley i guess.
Oh well, at least i know that this isn't usual.
