The tipe I can give you is find some place with nicknames and avatar, and construct your identify expressing yourself. Don't try things like "Hey, do yu want to be my friend?" at least directly (if you feel yo ucan say it it's okay but not from nothing). You should interact with people everyday and the everything will happen naturally.
I don't like discord, everything I found there is a lot of insane peple only interested in drama queens and virtual social disctuion or something like it (imagine someone send to you a copy of a conversation with other person and chitchat a lot about this, it's imoral). I made my friends in brazilian anime and game foruns, I dunno what exist in finland but should have some good place with good people, everycountry have his "corner of internet with cute enjoyable people", try find that. Maybe twitter? Some forum? Perhaps steam? Just try explore and interact with people with anime avatar, but dont give up if you find a drama queen dude.
