They literally said I would've had it but only if I came into work on the one day it was snowing in the middle of spring even though the previous day I almost had a head on collision due to drifting in the ice. My car is a POS with balding tires and has a brake system that doesnt function properly when hard braking with speeds over 40mph. And they said "attendance is important". And the retard had the gall to say "I made the right decision" because ultimately I didnt because he gave it to some other schmuck who isnt going to do the job at all. The moment that retard realizes he has to get up hours before everyone else and stay there longer than everyone else and ultimately Not even have a life outside of work is the moment he's going to give that shit up and go somewhere else. I'll give it 1-2 months before a position is magically back open.
Ultimately there's not much you can do, anon. Just try to get licensed in forklifting or anything, lie your ass off during interviews and resumes, and just try to look like the cream of the crop until you get into a more "responsibility" orientated job position. Then suddenly you become worth a lot more than most people.
