>>18911085>SANTA SANGRE (1989)This is a film by Alejandro Jodorowsky, the creator of films like Holy Mountain and El Topo, and the first half of the film feels just like any old Jodorowsky film with colorful Mexican slums and weird, eye-catching characters. The later half of the film goes balls-to-the-walls with revealing itself as a horror film, and it ends up feeling unlike any other Jodorowsky film. Even if you don't like his work, this one is so cohesive and watchable by comparison that you just might like it.
It even has a funny scene with a troon.
