>gym>martial artsBoth are good and a great way to improve yourself. Look into a trade as well. Academia is great but actually having a trade will be a good fallback for the future.
Training at the gym is good for your body and martial arts will teach you discipline but a trade will train your mind. Something that you shouldn't take for granted or neglect.
