Yes, it's heavy as fuck, but it's modular. The same gun can fire .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum and .50 Action Express by changing barrels. Barrels are available in 6" and 10" lengths. I have one with 6' barrels in all three calibers. I actually prefer the gun in .44 Magnum. hot .44 Magnum loaded to 14 fps with a 240 grain bullet feels about like .45acp out of a full sized 1911. Entirely manageable. At that speed, muzzle energy is about 1000 ft lbs of energy, or about the same as 5.56 from a 16 inch barrel. And you can always carry a second .50AE barrel and swap them, which takes about three seconds. upper end .50AE loads are a 300 grain bullet running at 1600 fps for 1700 ft lbs of muzzle energy, or about equal to 7.62x39 fro an 18 inch barrel. Carry gear is available. The point of this would be having a concealable handgun with intermediate rifle performance at close range with a faster reloading time than a revolver.
