>>16846039This used to be the thing that made me hate religion the most. Particularly the apocalyptic cults like Jehovah's Witnesses who just can't wait for their god to wipe out everyone without the correct doctrine in their fucking heads. So the weak can inherit the Earth.
These beliefs are a coping mechanism for being powerless. You need a being who will on one hand tell you how to raise your kids and on the other had to drown his own because they pissed him off. Knows how many fucking hairs you have on your head but can't cut the rot out of a tree without burning it to the roots.
There is no god. And I can't hate the religious anymore because I myself wish an asteroid would scour this place clean of life above the bacterial level.
