Doesn't movie seem off to anyone else? Not only was it one of the first films to feature Virtual Reality, there's a strong Anti-Catholic subtext that almost nobody brings up. Jobe was raised by and abused by a catholic priest. The shop director dr. Angelo talks to mentions the catholic church as a source of dirty money. Lastly jobe "becomes god" and crucifies (but doesn't kill) dr. Angelo in the climax of the film. Could jobe be the beast of the apocalypse?
Anyone else find anything weird while watching it? The 2nd film is shitty but also worthy of analysis.
