I can imagine the sound and taste, change the colour to purple, take a slice out like those diagrams of Earth’s layers, turn into a tomato on the inside, et al.
But the strength of the visualisation varies. When I’m tired, I frequently have to concentrate on the mental construct in order for it to stop rotating, for example. It takes effort for me to “hold” the image “still”, so to speak.
