You still go to church on sunday but it would be filled with people who are in purgatory (people who never learned about god) and you would teach them.

It's very convoluted but it essentially says you get to be taught to be like god in heaven. There's even 3 kingdoms within the Celestial kingdom so it gets more complicated. You have to hold certain tenants and live a super specific life in order to get in (IE: get married, sealed in the temple, held all the articles of faith, etc).
