>lol i didn't know what i was doing???schtick. i've written things before - you don't just sit there and blank out and put things down, it's always under pretty heavy scrutiny by yourself. even innocuous things like describing the color of something in a story or putting a phrase in a music composition has a reason, even if it's just "i thought it was pretty there"
i'm positive the creator had a solid message he made the movie with - whether or not you have to interpret that message the same way is a different story (and if you want, a really long and annoying discussion about how language, thought, and communication works). but i refuse to believe he just sat down at the editor's table and thought to himself
