But personally, the fact gameplay and how well you execute during the fight matters more than items and whatnot started growing on me after a while. One of the things I hate the most about WoW is that it's all about numbers, yeah the concept of a "build" is cool but in practice it's just everyone running around with 1 or 2 op builds and stat checking the boss. There's little to no execution on those games. FFXVI taught me to care more about actually playing the fucking game than numbers. You can do more damage than someone playing the same class as you with better items than you just by being better than them and I love that shit.
