Christianity is a strange faith in that it thrives under persecution. So when we were being punished and or martyred by the Roman government we grew. Not to mention the famous Roman roads and the amount of land held by the Roman Empire helped us spread out and share the word of God. But by the time of Constantine the Empire was declining. And he may have run a supposed Christian empire but it wasn't morally right. And you shall know them by their fruits.
