He incorrectly condemns massive swathes of the world based on two anecdotes - one of which wasn't even by choice. What the peasants in the first picture are wearing is a coif, not a hoodie. It's a separate garment from their shirt and, in many of medieval Europe, they were obligated by LAW to wear it outside of their homes. It wasn't a personal choice so they could "cover their deformed skulls and faces in shame," it was literally the law. I hate how intellectually bankrupt half of the so-called "right-wing" is these days. It's all about feeling superior, not actually being superior.
