You guys don't understand how fucked the situation on the ground is, to the point where our inability to manufacture things is actually a massive gaping hole in our national security. We're going to be in some kind of military conflict woth China within the next 12-24 months (not sure if it will be cold or hot), and I actually think these tariffs are too little too late and he should have done even more. Tariffs won't even be a major issue at the midterms because they will have been completely overshadowed by China issue. In retrospect the tariff policies will seem like a good decision because they helped prepare us somewhat for the China conflict.
